Protect and promote principals' interests in all respects at port and other official authorities, institutions, and commercial enterprises concerned.

Arrange and settle all matters considered as the 'common' duties of shipping agents, to execute all instructions and requirements of principal, their representatives, and masters of vessels.

Control and fulfill any services and formalities concerning the principals' vessels, cargo, passengers, and crew, both before vessels' arrival to the port, during their stay in the port, and after departure from port.

Report to the principals about owners' vessels' arrival, their position and prospects, their departure as well as about any important occurrences concerning the principals' vessels, cargo, passengers, and crew.

Deal with claims and disputes arising against principals, their vessels, and other parties in accordance with the principals' instructions. Assist the principals in the realization of their lien upon the cargo.

Provide principals and their representatives with the necessary documents for avoiding principals' losses. Keep all records, accounts, and other documents concerning owners' vessels and their cargo handled under this agreement for at least 2 years and to produce copies of documents whenever requested by principals.

Handle vessels and crew members mail.

Communication with the vessels masters upon their arrival and present to masters any necessary information and advice.

Upon instruction from principals, arrange for fuel, lubrication oil, fresh water, provisions and technical and repairing services, medical services to crew members and passengers as required by principals/masters.

Inform principals about any accidents (environmental pollution and damages to their vessels). Assist masters in collecting all necessary documents and help solve problems with official authorities if any.
